Health Screening
Cenk Chiropractic offers free health screenings to local companies and organizations in order to promote health and wellness. Our screening operations are fully mobile, require a minimal amount of setup time and space, and can be performed at your location, at your convenience. We are pleased to offer our screenings in conjunction with your health or safety fairs, or as a standalone event.
Surface EMG
The foundation for a Cenk screening is our spinal screening. All screenings 
are conducted using a Myovision Surface EMG. The Surface EMG is similar to an “EKG” for the heart. The Surface EMG is used to test muscle tension and balance. It uses hand held electrode instruments that are placed over the muscles of the neck and lower back to identify the exact location of abnormal muscle activity. The benefits of this test are that it is painless, quick, and most importantly, it helps determine what further evaluations or tests may or may not be necessary. Employees will discover how they “measure up” to normal, and all employees scanned will get to take a copy of their scan results home!
Orthotic Scan
In addition to the spinal screening, we also have the capability to perform orthotic scans on all employees. Employees should have their feet regularly scanned for imbalances that could be the cause of pain in the neck, back, hips, or knees. With the most advanced technology, our digital scanner allows our team to check feet for problems that could transfer to other areas in the body. Cenk Chiropractic’s orthotic scanner creates an image of each employee’s foot that shows the weight distribution on the three arches and areas of asymmetry on both feet. The scanner also provides a balanced, symmetrical foot scan for your employees to compare with. Again, all employees will get to take a copy of their scan results home!
